Bharat Tex 2026 has officially begun at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, bringing together global buyers, textile businesses, exporters, manufacturers and industry stakeholders on a major international platform.
Union Minister of Textiles Giriraj Singh inaugurated the event on July 14, 2026. The event is being held from July 14 to July 17 and showcases India’s complete textile value chain.
Bharat Tex 2026 Brings Global Textile Industry Together
Organised by the Bharat Tex Trade Federation with the support of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, Bharat Tex 2026 has attracted significant international participation.
According to official information, the event has brought together more than 6,000 buyers from over 130 countries and is expected to receive over 1.3 lakh trade visitors.
The event covers more than 1.6 million square feet of exhibition space and features over 20,000 textile products.
New Opportunities for Indian MSMEs and Exporters
Bharat Tex 2026 is expected to create important business opportunities for Indian textile enterprises, including MSMEs, first-time exporters and manufacturers.
The event provides a platform for Indian businesses to connect with international buyers, explore new markets and strengthen their presence in global textile supply chains.
During the inauguration, the importance of connecting Indian enterprises with global markets was highlighted. A Letter of Intent was also exchanged between the Bharat Tex Trade Federation and Première Vision Paris.

More Than 100 Knowledge Sessions Planned
Bharat Tex 2026 will host more than 100 knowledge sessions during the four-day event. These include panel discussions, roundtables, masterclasses and State-focused sessions.
The discussions will cover important areas such as trade and investment, sustainability, Industry 5.0, innovation, technical textiles, fashion, policy and global sourcing.
The event is also expected to facilitate thousands of business-to-business meetings and interactions between businesses and government representatives.
