Environment Champion Quiz 2026 Grand Finale at The Heritage School Kolkata

Kolkata: The Grand Finale of the Environment Champion Quiz 2026 – 3rd Edition concluded successfully at The Heritage School, Kolkata, bringing together school students, educators, institutional leaders, industry representatives and distinguished guests for a celebration of environmental awareness, sustainability and youth leadership.

Organised as a flagship initiative of Mantras Foundation, the Environment Champion Quiz aims to promote environmental awareness, sustainability and responsible citizenship among school students. The programme provided students with an engaging platform to demonstrate their knowledge while encouraging greater awareness of environmental issues.

Environment Champion Quiz 2026 Promotes Environmental Awareness

The Grand Finale witnessed intense competition among participating students through multiple rounds designed to test their knowledge, awareness and quick thinking. The competition featured a Preliminary Round, Knowledge & Awareness Round, Visual/Audio Round, Rapid-Fire Round, Semi-Final and Final Round.

The event also included a ceremonial and cultural segment featuring Ganesh Vandana, a welcome dance, result declaration, prize distribution and special addresses by distinguished guests. The programme concluded with the screening of the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” video, reinforcing the event’s message of environmental responsibility and the importance of creating a greener future.

Ashok Hall Girls’ Higher Secondary School Wins 3rd Edition

Ashok Hall Girls’ Higher Secondary School emerged as the winner of the 3rd Edition of the Environment Champion Quiz 2026.

Ideal Public School, Kulgachia secured the second position, while Lions Calcutta Greater Vidya Mandir finished third in the competition.

The results highlighted the strong participation and environmental awareness demonstrated by school students throughout the quiz.

Quiz Master Abhishek Kar Recognised

Abhishek Kar, Quiz Master of the 3rd Edition, was specially recognised for his valuable contribution to the competition.

His role in conducting the quiz and engaging young minds throughout the various rounds was acknowledged during the programme. The recognition highlighted the importance of effective quiz masters and educators in making knowledge-based initiatives engaging for students.

Distinguished Guests Attend the Grand Finale

The Grand Finale was attended by several distinguished guests and stakeholders associated with the initiative.

Among the guests were Mr. Mayapati Khenka, Chairman; Mr. Vibhor Tandon, President; and Ms. Pragya Jhunjhunwala, National Secretary of Mantras Foundation.

Other distinguished guests included Mr. B. D. Sunamia, Mr. Mukesh Parekh, Mr. Amar Bhartia, Mr. K. K. Jalan, Sri K’S Adhikary, Sri Manish Drola, Smt. Seema Saproo, Ms. Piya Nandy and Mr. Atul Singh, among others.

Their presence added significance to the event and reflected the collective commitment towards environmental education and youth development.

The Environment Champion Quiz 2026 was powered by SBI and Duroply, with EMC Limited and Emami Group serving as CSR Partners. Heritage Group and CAGS College supported the initiative as Supporting Partners.

The Partner Organisations included Lions Club of Calcutta Tollygunge, MASA Forum, Rabindra Sarovar Friends Forum, Concern for Calcutta and Praxia Skills.

The initiative also received additional support from Manufali Group, Federal Bank, Anmol Biscuits, WIN Pens, IDFC FIRST Bank and Sigma Energy.
