Timely credit access par focus, small businesses ko funding boost milne ki sambhavna
ET Update, Feb 15:
Bharat mein Reserve Bank se judi policy discussions ke tahat MSMEs ke liye collateral-free loans ki limit ko double karne ka proposal saamne aaya hai, jo 1 April se implement ho sakta hai. Iska primary objective chhote vyaparon ko faster aur easier credit access dena hai.
Reports ke mutabik regulator aur banking system dono timely formal credit ko MSME growth ka sabse bada factor maan rahe hain. Abhi kaafi small businesses collateral ki kami ki wajah se loans lene me struggle karte hain, jisse working capital cycle disturb hota hai aur expansion delay hota hai.
Proposed change ke baad banks ko zyada amount tak unsecured lending karne ki flexibility milegi. Isse especially manufacturing aur service sector MSMEs ko fayda hoga jo regular cash flow par dependent hote hain lekin assets pledge nahi kar pate.
Financial experts ka kehna hai ki collateral-free lending badhne se informal borrowing kam hogi, interest burden reduce hoga aur businesses apni operations ko formal economy me shift kar payenge. Saath hi GST data aur digital transactions ki wajah se credit risk assessment bhi pehle se zyada accurate ho chuka hai, jis se banks ka confidence badh raha hai.
Key Points
- Collateral-free loan limit double karne ka proposal
- Possible implementation: 1 April
- Timely credit access par regulatory focus
- Informal lending dependency kam hone ki ummeed
- Manufacturing aur service MSMEs ko major benefit
Impact
Agar policy lagu hoti hai, toh MSMEs ke liye working capital availability improve hogi aur Bharat ke small business sector me investment aur expansion ki speed badh sakti hai.
